Reveals for ficinabox have finally taken place!
I had an amazing time with this exchange. It was my first time doing an exchange over 1k words and I think the format made it super conducive to my success in completing it. Swaps and being able to swap assignments for pinch-hits made it feel less stressful while also still working towards that 10k total. While I did have to default a bit of my assignment, I was able to pick up another pinch-hit so that I was able to meet the 10k in fic + equivalent :D
This gave me a lot of confidence, so time willing, I think I'm going to aim for completing the triple crown this round. I've already picked up a pinch hit for fffx so I'll do my best!

Details about my works below the cut!
A Softer Blaseball
Fandom: Blaseball
Medium: A Softer World Remixes
Wordcount/Fic Equivalent: 2k (6 remixed comics)
My Art piece of the exchange! I really loved going through all the season 24 events and picking out comics that could fit with them. It was a little tough sometimes, since Blaseball is such a text based medium, but the map and weather events also presented a lot of opportunities that resulted in my favourites out of this batch.

Fandom: Stranger Things (TV 2016)
Pairing: Robin Buckley/Nancy Wheeler
Medium: Fic
Wordcount/Fic Equivalent: 3269
The most "straighforward" of all the works in that there's no skins or remixes here, but a little challenging in its own way. I always had an idea of how this fic should go and it didn't quite live up to it, but it turned out cute enough and I do like what's there on the page.

Wordcount/Fic Equivalent: 4101
This work was challenging in a fun way. I spent a lot of time adjusting two skins in order to recreate Dreamwidth/AO3 exchange pages and also making titular icons for both. I also went down a Quenya rabbithole trying to recreate names for these equivalent sites and also for some users/terminology as well. Then I had even more fun thinking of how the tags would work (I have a soft spot for Gondorian Royalty RPF). My only regret is that I didn't have time to add blurbs to some of the fics, but it was super enjoyable and I'm proud of everything that is there.

Fandom: "Mysterious fog nothing to worry about" says weatherman who died 20 years ago - Mary Gillis
Medium: Twitter Thread/Social Media
Wordcount/Fic Equivalent: 1070
This was a lot of fun. I enjoyed thinking up a lot of scenarios that could have happened in this crazy town and putting them all on the page. I also enjoyed being able to spout some classic Canadiana like dissing Winnipeg and calling the US "the States". 14/10 would thread again.
